The UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, world leaders at the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 global goals. They set an ambitious and transformative vision for peace and prosperity on a healthy planet and paved a course for how to get there. The 17 global goals tackle the most important global issues by highlighting how these areas are interconnected: to achieve equality, environmental sustainability, peace and justice, we need action to eradicate poverty and hunger, to secure good health worldwide, and to guarantee quality education. Guided by the goals, the entire world can work together to build a better and stronger future.
