Today I feel like … Thy

In spring 2024, SMK Thy visited thousands of schoolchildren and children throughout Thisted Municipality with the workshop Today I feel like ... Thy by artist Jeppe Hein. Together we have moved the body, focused on our breath and asked ourselves: How do I feel, right here and now?

Each child was given a box with paper, paint and brush, which we used to paint our mood and breath. After the workshop each mood drawing was photographed, and the result was presented with a huge poster on the facade of the Music School facing the car park. The many faces show thousands of moods and give an insight into something personal. At the same time, they are an image of the cohesion of our communities, society and environment.
